I've been interested in photography as a hobby for the past 10 years. I started with a Minolta film camera I lately moved to a Canon DLSR camera that I found
was bringing new challenges like colour-related issues. It happens to be a much more difficult tool to use than most people may make it look.
Knowledge of computer tools and colour calibration systems becomes critical, along with post-processing. I'd consider this a drawback actually since now most photos are retouched and post-processed to make them "look better". You're loosing here the essence of photography, which is to me, capturing the instant, the emotion, the image at a precise moment.

I'm trying to keep post-processing to a minimum, just using it to enhance something already present in a picture, and not to create something that doesn't exist.

Be amazed by sparks from the sky, by the sun rising, by the colours of flowers.
